Company History

A third generation family business originally dating back to the late 1870s, E.V.Kidd was later established as a Limited Company by Vincent Kidd Snr. who, with a brother and sister, initially concentrated on French Polishing and Wood Finishing, located on Dublins North Side.

Since then, its range of specialities has been extended to include one of Ireland's foremost Floor Sanding services. The knowledge and traditional skills passed down through the generations have been allied with modern techniques and technology to provide an unmatched level of service to meet the needs of discerning and satisfied customers.

The Kidd family connection is still very strong within The Company - and over the years the business has established and maintained an enviable reputation for the quality of its service, the abilities of its craftsmen and its 'finished product'. Currently there a twenty two people employed by E.V.Kidd Ltd.
